Emily Hunter, in her own words…


I recently spoke with the very busy young woman Emily Hunter as she and colleagues drove from Washington, DC to Toronto—on their way to a protest of the Canadian Tar Sands in Alberta.  After finding her LinkedIn, I reached out and we exchanged a few emails.  Emily will be speaking on campus on Monday, 2/25.  Her purpose is to inspire those who attend, particularly students, to get involved in the global campaign to end the senseless destruction of the planet we call home.  The email tag led to a couple poorly-timed phone calls, until we at last synced up.  Anticipating her visit, I thought it would be nice to offer Emily’s message—in her voice—speak to the College.
